Walking Camera

Some people take a dog for a walk - I take a camera.

Walking and photography go well together. I have walked many footpaths throughout the United Kingdom but I tend to do most of my walking around the South West of England where I live. I particularly like to walk along the coast. I consider walking to be one of the reasons why I am still in good health.

I may not remember everywhere that I have been and everything that I have seen when out walking but it all comes back when I look at my photos. I always take a camera with me when I am walking.

My usual walking camera is a Fujifilm mirrorless APS-C camera fitted with a 27mm (41mm equivalent) pancake lens. This great little camera will fit into a jacket pocket, manbag or rucksack side pocket, ready for instant use. I often also take a wide angle 18mm (27mm equivalent) lens for shooting views.
